 Cardiac Surgeon of the highest category, PhD, worked for more than 25 years at the Amosov Institute , within the last 15 years held a post of the leading scientific employee. Has executed more than 1000 complicated surgical interventions for adults and children with heart diseases. Trained abroad, worked for a long time as a surgeon in private cardic hospital in Istanbul (Turkey). Authored more than 70 manuscripts, 20 of them are published in the leading specialized magazines and book of abstracts. The basic themes of scientific researches are devoted to the surgical treatment of Ebstein’s anomaly and aneurysm of thoracic aorta.

The department is situated on the 7th  floor of the  Center.  Comfortable double bed ward with all the conveniences, such as air-conditioning and ventilation, are equipped by system of continuous monitoring of all parameters compatible to the patient.

 All information about functioning of the heart and lungs is deduced on the special monitor which is on a post of the staff nurse. Employees of the department put in best efforts and make sure that in clinic stay has been surrounded by atmosphere of professionalism and patient healthcare.

 A WIDE SPECTRUM OF CARDIAC SURGERIES ARE IN THE DEPARTMENT INCLUDING:

·        heart valve replacement by heart by mechanical and biological prosthetics;

·        mitral and tricuspid valve repair;

·        coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG);

·        CABG heart valve replacement and/or repair;

·        CABG together with lung resection or removing;

·        aortic arch aneurysm repair;
