For the first time in Ukraine, the aortic valve endoprosthesis of the new generation was implanted in the Heart Institute.
The patient, 75 years old, had a complicated disease of the aortic valve, damage to the ascending aorta by calcinosis and a number of concomitant diseases, which combined implied a very high risk of the traditional surgery.
